Antonio arrived on England's shores via a trader ship returning from the ports of Rome.  He had to escape the rivalry between his and another powerful family.  Antonio's brother, Brando, started a feud with the Stagnitto family, a very powerful merchant family.  As a result, the Stagnittos came to arrest Antonio in order to influence Brando. 

Having been forced to flee, Antonio is looking for word about his wife and family among the sailors and merchants of Newcastle.  Rumor has it that he is also looking to finance a return trip to Rome; accompanied by a small contingent of militia.  Is he an innocent victim of a family dispute, or could other motivates be  at work?
