St Matthew's Guild

Each year at Folsom Faire in October, St. Matthew's Guild of Historic Actors has the privilege of awarding a scholarship to a faire participant who has contributed to the faire community, demonstrated excellence in education, and aspires to attain their Associates or Bachelors degree.
Applicants are judged by a scholarship committee based upon their overall GPA, a letter of recommendation from their guild master, and their answers to a series of essay questions.
To qualify for the scholarship, an applicant must be a participant in a Renaissance guild, pursuing (or planning to pursue within one year of the scholarship award) an Associates or Bachelors degree, and be able to demonstrate overall contributions to the faire environment.
Scholarship applications are available for download and must be returned to St. Matthews Scholarship Committee by September 15, 2007. For more information, please contact Melinda.
