SITCom's mission (Self Indulgent Thespian's Committee) is to develop, rehearse, and eventually perform short gigs at faire, both in our encampment and on stage. We have some great ideas brewing -- this is the perfect time to get in on the creation of some possibly Oscar-caliber stuff.
- For the 2005 Faire Season, SITCom has three goals. First, to develop some gigs in which we can play at away-faires. Gigs can range from simple to a bit more rehersed. Second, to develop a concept for Folsom Faire concerning what the Shire is going to do. (i.e., Festivities, Elections, ect.) Finally, to have folks in the group improve their characters so that they become more comfortable giging and playing "themselves" while at faire.
- The first meeting is yet to be determined. Most likely the meetings will be bi-monthly, depending on Melinda's work schedule, and each meeting will focus on a different aspect of those three goals. The first meeting will be an overview covering some general outlines and ideas.
